I have bet on countless of rounds of 21. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
