I have wagered on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
